The Tribe of Gouda

Conversation at dinner:

Ellie: Can I please have another slice of Gouda?

Nico: What's Gouda?

Ellie: It's a kind of cheese and also one of Benjamin's brothers.

Apparently my kids have listened to "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" too many times. Or maybe they need to hear it a few more times to really nail down the names of all the brothers.

Hmmmm..... I wonder if that would be your influence or Alex's.

I know... it's hard to guess.

Yep, it's right there in the Bible: Benajamin, Gouda, Brie, Provolone, Munster, Taleggio, Bleu, Camembert, Chevre, Lancashire, Very Sharp Cheddar and Monterey Jack!

I love that you feed your children Gouda. I believe I was 25 when I first tried it.

By the way, I love your new house. I'm jealous you get to live in a "village". This will warrant a trip to New York.

Aw man, I wish I WAS from the Tribe of Gouda. Really it should be spelled "Good-a."
