won't miss: the towel bar

This thing breaks regularly. It's just not a good design. It often decides to break right when we have company here, and it does so with as much loud clanging as possible.

Now if this was our house, we'd just replace it. But as a renter, who knows? We could be leaving at any minute. So we thought for the last four years. And so we kept fixing it every few months. But no longer!

The funny thing about this one is that Alex still doesn't know the secret to fixing it... only me. mwaahhhhaa

True, although the funny thing about that is that Ami always has to fix it.

Ah.... Kind of like how I can "never quite figure out" how to do a million things at our house: change the air filters, clean the shower, turn on the grill, etc, etc. Comes in handy, that.
Jane: "Hey Burke! I can't figure out how to get the filter in. Oops, well THAT can't be right..."
Burke: "Here. I'll just do it."

I have nothing witty to say, but I'm really enjoying these profiles in courage, or whatever you want to call 'em. I'll miss your Queens place too.

That little comment exchange is the funniest thing I've read today. Ooo boy.
