Every night at dinner we tell each other our "best" and "worst" for that day.
Nico told us his "worst" was having to do the Hokey Pokey in kindergarten.
I knew there would be something about kindergarten he wouldn't like.
(It does make me giggle just a little bit to think of Nico the Sober doing the Hokey Pokey.)

I am unable to picture Nico doing the Hokey Pokey, but if I were I would laugh out loud and/or snort milk.
I have a plaque in my den given to me by someone in the family which reads:
"WHAT IF THE HOKEY POKEY IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT"

The ridiculous rituals we are forced to participate in as a part of public educations. :)
That Nico and the Hokey Pokey can exist in the same universe tells us that there is a much grander, more expansive range to it than we could ever have imagined.
What?! He doesn't like the Hokey Pokey?! I LOVE It!........
