Nico was a black sheep, or "back seep" as he calls it. Why? "Because seeps are my favorite," he explains.

Ami was a Purple Witch, as usual. I was a construction worker, having constructed my costume at the last second with materials close at hand. Kudos to Ami for putting together Ellie's and Nico's costumes from scratch -- she worked on them for some time.

Ellie's pumpkin (started sagging a bit at the end there)

Nico's pumpkin, complete with three eyes as per request

Ami's pumpkin and mine. Ami's (on the right) was really cool. It looked like some sort of Aztec god, especially when glowing from the inside.

On the trail... Burns Street is a great place to trick or treat. Many of our neighbors get really into the holiday spirit with costumes and decorations. So it's fun for the kids, and also for the adults -- this is the only time each year we talk to most of them.

After the haul, the traditional lineup and a viewing of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Hope you all had a great Halloween!

Well done. As soon as we got home we had a mob of spooks knock on our door. we stole all the suckers from the girls bags and gave it to them.
Nice photo at the end.
Very cute. Nico makes the cutest "seep" I've ever seen. We missed you guys this year!
Love the pictures!!! We're looking forward to you guys visiting - if our chances are still 87%.
You forgot to mention that your pumpkin looked just like the frog on Spirited Away.
Great costumes. Are those little pom poms all over Nico's? That's a labor of love right there. I also liked that Ellie was a fruit bat as opposed to just a normal bat. Happy Halloween.
Whoa, the famous fantasy-football-playing Harts have a blog. I saw the link on Becki's. Fun to see the family and lots of pumpkins. Hopefully, we'll be able to keep "urlosingtoagirl" from winning our league this year! Take care,
Scott Pope
I saw hundreds of kids in costume
this year for storytime, but none
as cute as yours--and you. Mwahahahahaha.
