Things I should have known before today...

1. If you pull up to a gas pump and you don't get "options" when you normally get three, warning bells should go off.

2. When the gas nozzle doesn't fit into your tank and it usually does, you should not assume that your tank is just broken and proceed to fill the tank.

3. I have really great friends. One of whom has a really great brother who happens to own a siphon.

4. Siphons don't work on Hondas.

So sad! But so funny. I guess we'll see tomorrow if it all works out. Fingers crossed. :)

I'm not sure if you are laughing at yourself or really frustrated. But if it isn't funny now, after much time has passed, it will be.

So... was it natural gas? Water? Dr. Pepper perhaps? Whatever it was, this story kind of brings to mind "high school Ami", whom I thought was long gone. Glad to know she is alive and well...

During our Mapleton days we had a diesel Mercedes which I loaned one day to my mother who proceeded to stop at a station and fill the car with gasoline. She did this even though she drove a diesel VW rabbit. We had to drain the tank. But the car survived and ran well.

Yes. That's too great. Hope the car forgives you. :)

Oh, Ami! I love you! And I love this story, probably because this is something I would do. :)
